Ireland, in review

Our industry met in one room, and the conversation now carries on online.

From the editors

Behind every consultation, treatment or referral is a person.

On Monday 5 October 2026, we gathered at the Manor House, Killashee Hotel in Naas, County Kildare, for Trichollective Ireland. For me, it was a deeply meaningful day: people from different professional backgrounds came together with a shared desire to learn, connect and support others.

I created Trichollective to connect cosmetic, clinical and medical professionals. Through my own journey as a hairdresser, educator and trichologist, I have seen how much each discipline contributes to someone's care, and how valuable it is when we understand one another's work.

Behind every consultation, treatment or referral is a person. Their hair concerns may affect their confidence, identity and wellbeing. Bringing our knowledge together helps us consider that person more fully.

This edition is my thank-you to everyone who made the day what it was: Tara, our speakers, our exhibitors, our sponsor, Aileen and every attendee. It is also a record of what we learned, so the conversations we started in Naas can carry on.

Karley Weir, Founder of Trichollective
